About
Commercial Excess Liability
Commercial
Excess Liability is a form of liability insurance providing
policyholders additional coverage over what is provided
with basic liability policies, i.e., primary automobile,
general liability and workers compensation.
To be eligible for excess liability coverage, most insurers
require the insured carry a certain amount of basic liability
protection. Commercial Excess Liability then fills the
gaps of their primary automobile, general liability and
workers compensation policies. It provides additional
liability limits to the other coverage owned, which is
important when the underlying policy is exhausted or reduced
by loss.
Check with Southland Insurance Agency for more information
on excess liability insurance.
The policy coverages described above are in the most
general terms and are subject to the actual policy exclusions
and conditions. For specific coverage details and policy
exclusions, refer to the policy itself or contact Southland
Insurance Agency.
